Philip Muir 
Head of Practice, Commodities Practice
Philip graduated from Edinburgh University in 1997 with a 2:1 MA (Hons) in History.
He joined Schroders as a graduate late 1997, moving into the Emerging Markets team as an Analyst for Schroder Investment Management and in 1999 he became a Fund Manager covering Emerging Market Debt and Currencies. He moved to join Lazard in 2000 as a Sales Trader in their ECM business.
In 2002 Philip joined a fine wine trading company as a Director where he spent two years helping to build the business in the UK before joining Redgrave in 2004.
Since moving into Search, Philip has grown an expansive network of clients and contacts throughout the commodity universe spanning private trading, private equity, sovereign wealth, banks, hedge funds and utilities where he provides high quality strategic advice and execution up to board level.
The proposition has always been to serve and partner our clients over the long term and consequently the practice has now grown to serve a strong, established and well diversified group of retained clients in EMEA and selectively around the world.
Will Orr 
Consultant, Commodities Practice
Will graduated from The University of Loughborough in 2004 with a degree in Politics and began his career at a boutique executive search firm where he focused exclusively on Equity and Fixed Income Marketing positions. He joined a global search firm in 2006, again focusing on Equity Derivatives. In 2008 he helped develop this firm's Commodity Franchise and had a lead role in developing the energy derivatives sales and structuring business globally.
Will joined Redgrave in October 2010 as a consultant in the Commodity Practice and a mandate to develop Redgrave’s expertise in commodity sales, trading, financing and structured products. His product experience includes Oil liquids, Power, Gas, Investor Products & Metals as well as commodity, structured and project related finance expertise.
The Commodity Team continues to develop and nurture banking, trading house, fund and utility clients across the globe.
Our Commodities team has real extensive experience of working with many leading organisations from the financial and commodities markets and has developed an intricate knowledge of the small trading networks that characterize them. Current clients include investment banks, private trading houses and trading utilities.
