Philip Muir
Head of Practice, FX and Commodities
Philip graduated from Edinburgh University in 1997 with a 2:1 MA (Hons) in history. Later that year he joined Schroders as a graduate, moving into the Emerging Markets team as an Analyst for Schroder Investment Management.
In 1999 he became a Fund Manager covering Emerging Market Debt and Currencies before leaving the company to join Lazard in 2000 as a Sales Trader in its ECM business.
In 2002 Philip joined a fine wine trading company as a Director where he spent two years helping to build the business in the UK before joining Redgrave in 2004. Since joining, he has been steadily building his franchise in Commodities and Corporate Solutions.
Our FX & Commodities team has real extensive experience of working with many leading organisations from the financial and commodities markets and developing unrivalled knowledge of the small trading networks that characterise these areas.
