The government’s reform agenda and its proposal to “liberate” the NHS has raised considerable debate within the UK independent health sector. Spending cuts will undoubtedly have consequences for some organisations reliant on NHS funding. Conversely, the pressure to reduce costs within the organisation should create significant opportunities for businesses that can offer cost effective outsourced solutions.

The independent sector appears to be broadly positive in response to the change agenda proposed, but with recognition that changing the structure and some of the behaviours prevalent within the NHS will be a complex challenge. Redgrave Partners has extensive experience of delivering senior mandates within the independent healthcare market. Our cross-sector networking capability means that we can reach individuals with extensive healthcare experience as well as those who can bring experience from different commercial or operational environments and bring fresh thinking and approach to organisations.
