Having graduated with a degree in Business Studies, Mark joined a global IT manufacturer working in a variety of marketing and sales positions.

In 1997, Mark entered the recruitment industry, joining a leading global business. Initially focused on sales and marketing assignments in the IT sector, he then took responsibility for a new functional area; managing the engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and procurement business across the South of England.

Most recently Mark spent two years with a boutique executive search firm with a focus on the Natural Resources and Industrial Market Sectors. This included the successful delivery of senior mandates across a range of Commercial and Engineering functions in a wide variety of locations including West Africa, Middle East and Continental Europe.

 Since joining Redgrave Partners, Mark has delivered a number of senior commercial and operations mandates for a broad range of organisations within the healthcare sector.

The life science markets today are experiencing unprecedented change and facing key strategic challenges including: globalisation and the rise of emerging markets, ageing populations and demographic changes, patent expirations, funding, pressure on margin and speed to market – all of these combined have resulted in an extremely competitive life science landscape.
